Fundraise for us

Why fundraise for us?

Become a friend of Family Fund extra and join in the fun!

The Family Fund has been helping severely disabled and often disadvantaged children throughout the UK since 1973. Over the years, with the help of the national governments, we have made a huge difference to hundreds of thousands of families with disabled children. More and more, due to a greater need from families, and even with improved efficiencies distributing 91p in every £1 in grants, there is still a lack of funds, and we are unable to help so many families that need our support.

Fundraising ideas

Friends of Family Fund extra come from all different walks of life; families and friends who care for a disabled child and corporate companies. The one thing they share is the passion and vision of an inclusive society where families with disabled children have choices and the opportunity to enjoy ordinary life.

Read some of our ideas on fundraising or download your essential “Friends guide to Fundraising” (PDF) It has everything you need to get started and successfully fundraise.
